verizon suckos it should be called

when my dad first told me that we would be switching from comcast to verizon fios, i was a little upset that i would no longer have my own phone line (in the process of switching, he did not find it necessary to keep 2 phone lines). if only the loss of a phone which never rang anyway was the worst that fios would bring...

since we have had fios, i have had way too many "i am going to pull all of my fucking hair out" moments. the most recent being about an hour ago...you see, mother fucking fios (WHICH BTW, DOES NOT SHOW CHANNELS OR PROGRAMS OR GUIDES, UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FANCY BOX) changed allll of its channels a week ago...HAHAHA...jokes on me, who just fucking figured out the channels like a week and one day ago.

So, I start to feel my blood pressure quickly rising and I think back to the phone conversation I had with the fios help people about a week and a half ago (when the new box we ordered 2 months prior finally arrived and I was SHOCKINGLY having issues with it) and I said to the dude -- 'i noticed the channels will be changing, will verizon be sending out a new channel listing bc my family really relies on them' --DONT JUDGE US, WE LIKE TV -- and he was all like oh yeah, i think they are senidng out one per family....OH OK...that makes a WHOLE LOT OF FUCKING SENSE....but then he tells me that I can 'always just visit the website' to find channel listings. Fast forward back to this morning, I am having a dilemma -- I go to the website...AHHAHAHAHAH the FUNNIEST thing happened....THE FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT CHANNEL LINE UP ON THE WEBSITE REMAINS UNCHANGED.

Let me be clear here --- I DO realize that to many this all will seem menial and stupid...but i don't give a fuck...i am so livid...this is one example of how much VERIZON FIOS SUCKS!!!!

if you need some more convincing -- then here:
  • the reaction time is beyond slow...like if you were dying, and fios was 911...you would probably be dead and decayed by the time any help arrived
  • "on demand" is TERRIBLE -- it offers jack shit in comparisson to comcast
  • the whole connection from remote to device -- umm there isnt one -- i dont think they even have active sensors
  • IT GOES OUT ALL THE TIME -- out of the blue, its like oh hey, something really important is going to happen on the show, i cant wait, i wonder who she is screwing...and zap...cables out
  • have i mentioned HOW FUCKING SLOW FIOS IS?????!!!
  • oh and the INTERNET -- forget it...you know the slowskies? the turtle couple in the comcast ads -- they dont need dial up -- they need fios...i'm pretty sure they will find the response speed to their liking
  • FIOS help -- hmm would oximoron be an appropriate term? lets just say, they make it impossible to find a phone number to call for customer service or any other sort of assistance..
well my heart beat has significantly slowed down -- so I think I have released a lot of my pent up HATRED for VERIZON FIOS....but a word to the wise:

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, SWITCH TO VERIZON FIOS -- UNLESS YOU HATE YOURSELF AND WANT TO CAUSE YOURSELF AND YOUR LOVED ONES, UNNECCESSARY MISSERABLENESS!!

HAVE A SUPER DUPER FRIDAY!!!!!!

mmmmmm hugs and kisssssessssssss :)

welcome to the wonderful world of me

To be honest, I am not really sure why it has taken this long for me to realize that I am the perfect candidate for 'blogging'. Not only am I extremely opinionated...but I love to voice exactly what I am thinking and feeling...unfortunately for me, noone ever seems to want to listen. So now, I can get everything out that I want to say, and I have the perfect audience....because this computer cannot ignore me.

Sooo, what led me to this wonderful revelation? It was my experience last night at a restaurant that I honestly do enjoy, in fact since my first time there when it first opened, I have been a huge advocate for this restaurant...because that is me. I learned in one of my retail classes about people's reactions to services and products -- and how negative experiences are more often shared than positive ones. Well, I share all experiences, negative AND positive..maybe because that is me, I like to talk, I like to talk about how I feel and how things and people make me feel. And when I come across something that I like, or I really love, well I tell the world about it....I am a walking sales pitch for everything that I enjoy...unfortunately, I am also quite evil when it comes to things that do not meet expectations..

Right. So back to last night. My boyfriend and I wanted to go to a nice dinner, so we decided to go to Trattoria Giuseppe in Newtown Square, PA, like I said I generally like this place, I have been there multiple times...and yaddi yaddi ya...we decided to go there. At 6 pm...he (my boyfriend) told me he was hungry...so I said I would call the restaurant and see if they are busy, and put our name in.....because I KNEW from all of my past experiences, that this is not the type of place you want to just walk into on a Saturday night...so I call, and the bitch (and i am not using this term loosely) who answered told me they were busy busy, and I said well can I make a reservation and she said 8 or 830...so I said 8.

When we arrived at Trattoria Giuseppe..at ohhh 8:05? (we stopped to get wine real fast bc its a byob) there were a million people waiting outside (in the rain) and in the lobby of the building. So i make my way up to the host desk, and I tell the bitch, hi, I have a reservation --Dan--2 people...and she says 'yes you do' and then she says 'youre all set'....so im like ok...super duper.

For the next hour I watched as the owner, and some other dude ran around and kept coming up to the desk and asking the bitch for 2 tops or 4 tops...as tables opened...she LITERALLY would look up and randomly poiint at some people and be like umm yeah take them. UNORGANIZED does not even remotely describe this situation...not to mention.....when I went up to tell her we were there...she crossed our name off of the "reservation list" and WROTE IT AT THE BOTTOM of the waiting list.. WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT OF HAVING A RESERVATION?!?!?! I will tell you --- there is NO point...this place is so ridiculously unorganized and SO POORLY RAN that it makes me SICK! We got sat at
9:00 PM that is ONE WHOLE HOUR later than our 8:00 reservation...

On the plus side---the food was really delicious....but here is the point I am going to make to you...YES, YES, YES...the food is amazing...and that is definitely a constant...BUT Trattoria Giuseppe....is one of the Felini Cafe restaurants...which there are multiple of....and generally they all have the same menu....and honestly....alll have delicious food.

Trattoria Giuseppe is the biggest of all the Felini's that I have been to....and for some reason it is the only one that is run so terribly with no organization, extremely poor communication amongst the workers, and many other management faults.

They seriously need to ge their shit together over there....I heard at least SEVEN other people say they had an 8 oclock reservation and had been standing around for an hour waiting....what is the point? One man asked the bitch "if i want to eat at 8, what time should i make my reservation for, 6?" and really that sums it up....it is really not that spectacular, and it is definitely not unique...so I suggest the next time you want Italian...go somewhere else...Trattoria Giuseppe has one consistent trait -- epically long waiting...

OH AND ONE MORE THING---when the bitch was doing her random pointing when choosing who got to be sat next....it seemed a bit.....biast I guess I could say...what i mean, is that if she liked the way someone looked they were more likely to get seated....like the heavy set couple waiting for a table who were pounding beers....they received as much attention as the two kids in their young 20s (us)......that host lady is SERIOUSLY a biast bitch...ughhh I could honestly keep going for another ten hours about my frusteration with this place...but I have to go downstairs and tell my mama what I want from the grocery store :)

Til next time :)
